Ballyhoo Softball 8U Indoor Play Day

Each team will get two softball games and 1 round of mini golf. Tournament format is two round robin games – No tournament champion, just time to play the game you love.

As part of the registration fee, each Ballyhoo Academy Softball Team is authorized for a minimum of 7 tournaments. Teams may select to play in indoor tournaments through the winter months provided the team pays the additional costs of the tournaments through Ballyhoo Sports. Teams may also elect to play in additional tournaments provided the tournament costs for the additional tournaments are paid for by the team through Ballyhoo Sports.
The staff of Ballyhoo Sports Academy reserves the rights to approve all team tournaments. This is to insure that teams are playing in the proper tournaments for the benefit of the players.
Each Ballyhoo Academy Softball Team, as a part of the registration fee, will be registered and sanctioned with the following National Sanctioning Body Organizations: ASA, USSSA, PONY.
Each Ballyhoo Academy Softball Team player will be individually registered with ASA, obtaining a photo ID, and receiving an insurance product provided by ASA.
Indoor Facilities and Practices
Each Ballyhoo Academy Softball Team will receive 2 two hour indoor practice sessions per week during the winter. The practices may be held at the heritage hills athletic club or backyard university location in red lion. All Ballyhoo indoor practice scheduling is at the discretion of Ballyhoo Sports Academy.
Clarification of Teams and Assignment of Players
Ballyhoo Sports Academy Staff will work together with team coaching staffs to insure that the team is properly classified and that the players on any respective team are playing on the appropriately classified team. Placing athletes on the appropriately classified teams insures equal playing time for all athletes.
Ballyhoo Sports Academy will provide opportunities for team and individual picture sales.
Ballyhoo Sports Academy maintains a constant spirit wear store online, available to all participants and families.

Heritage Hills Membership and Passport to Perks Program
Ballyhoo Sports Academy will provide each player as part of their registration fee, a full year heritage hills membership. Parents and siblings are offered a discounted membership to heritage hills.
Passport to perks package includes discounts on a wide variety of recreation, service and food offerings
- 25% on recreation including golf, mini golf and snow tubing
- 20% on all services, spa services and retail, golf instruction and fitness program
- 15% on all food when dining at any of our restaurants
For the 2015-2016 season, the total parental costs for any Ballyhoo Academy Softball team will be $1100 registration for each player. In addition to the $1100 each player is also responsible for uniforms costs at $200 – this cost may be negated if the player already has a Ballyhoo uniform from a previous season if the team does not change uniform styles. There is a multiple kid discount of 10%.
Each player is required to submit a $300 non-refundable deposit upon acceptance of the offer to play for a Ballyhoo Sports Academy Team. The balance of the registration fee is broken down into monthly payments and is handled through Ballyhoo/Heritage Hills accounting and is automatically deducted from a bank account or charged to a credit card. There is no tiered leveled sponsoring team program at this time. As is customary, if relatives or business want to provide financial assistance for the player to play on the team, those relatives or businesses should simply provide the funds to mom and dad, who have already established the monthly payment plan.
