Sports Performance

Our training programs are designed to increase overall athletic performance and decrease your risk of injury. Athletes will work with our experienced Sports Performance team to develop flexibility, strength, balance, agility and core stability. Our programs are specifically tailored to the needs of the athlete. Sports Performance sessions will teach functional athletic movements for improving coordination and body control always emphasizing correct technique.

Training Plans

Our Sports Performance training plans develop the athletic ability needed to compete at the highest levels of competition. As part of their Ballyhoo membership, each athlete will be given an allotted number of sports performance classes to use during their teams’ designated training period.

Sports Performance Class

Athletes will learn functional athletic movements for improving coordination and body control always emphasizing correct technique. Functional abilities and strength are the focus of the program, as well as the latest youth sports training methods to meet the athlete’s goals. Classes will be conducted in a weight room environment with the use of elastic bands, medicine balls, dumbbell and kettlebell training, and plyometric training, as well as footwork drills.

Speed and Agility Class

This class will primarily be conducted on turf, rubberized or court surface with the use of speed ladder training, agility drills, elastic band training, medicine balls and plyometric training.

Combo Class

The first part of the class will be conducted on turf, rubberized or court surface with the use of speed ladder training, agility drills, elastic band training, medicine balls and plyometric training.  The second part of the class will be conducted in a weight room environment with the use of elastic bands, medicine balls, dumbbell and kettlebell training, and plyometric training.

Team Training

Team training sessions are available for both on-site and off-site performance training. Packages may include but are not limited to:

▪Speed, agility and sport-specific conditioning

▪Sport movement-specific injury preventions

▪Athletic based strength and jump training

▪Acceleration training for top end speed

▪Combined prep training for any level

▪Bodyweight / limited equipment-based strength and jump training

▪Daily or weekend camps and clinics
